Van is a beautiful Holstein calf who was rescued after being used at a petting zoo for the first six months of his life. Luckily, he and his brother were saved by a family who adored them. Van then found his way to Rainbow Ranger Station and his brother went to live at Kismet Creek Farm. People are often unaware that after the baby animals at petting zoos grow up, they are typically sent to slaughter. Luckily for Van and his brother, they will live out their natural lives at sanctuaries.
